Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Mutualift is an independent UK-based creator and brand partnerships business operated by Iraz Alam. We connect technology and desk-setup creators with brands to explore sponsorships and other relevant collaborations. This notice describes how we handle personal information in that work and through this website.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
For the activities described here, Iraz Alam, trading as Mutualift, is responsible for deciding how personal information is used. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, contact partnerships@mutualift.com.
2. What information may we collect?
We may collect and maintain the following information where relevant to a potential or ongoing partnership:
- Creators: your name or public creator name, YouTube channel and other public professional profiles, public business contact details, content niche, publicly visible audience metrics and content performance, and information you provide about sponsorship interests, rates, availability or requirements.
- Brands and their representatives: business name, work contact details, role, relevant products or campaigns, collaboration objectives, budgets and information you share during enquiries or negotiations.
- Communications and agreements: emails, replies, meeting notes, proposals, campaign discussions and any commercial information needed to coordinate a collaboration.
- Website use: limited technical information processed by our website host, such as IP addresses and requests needed to serve and protect the site.
We obtain information directly from you when you contact us, from publicly available professional sources such as YouTube channels and business websites, and sometimes from a creator, brand or representative involved in a proposed collaboration. Public availability does not remove your privacy rights.
3. How and why do we use information?
- To identify and assess whether creators and brands may be suitable for one another.
- To respond to enquiries and communicate about possible sponsorships and collaborations.
- To introduce interested parties and coordinate discussions about campaign terms, deliverables, timelines and commercial arrangements.
- To maintain appropriate records of enquiries, partnerships and business communications.
- To operate and protect our website and business communications, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Depending on the activity, we may rely on legitimate interests (for example, evaluating relevant professional partnership opportunities where those interests are not overridden by individuals’ rights), steps requested before entering a contract or performance of a contract, or legal obligations. Where the law requires consent, including for certain unsolicited marketing emails, we will seek it before sending those messages. We respect requests not to receive further marketing communications.
4. When do we share information?
Where appropriate for a possible collaboration, we may share relevant professional details with a prospective creator or brand, such as a public channel profile, publicly available metrics, campaign brief, business contact details or agreed proposal information. We aim to share only what is needed and, where appropriate, confirm an individual's interest before sharing non-public information such as rates, private contact details or negotiation terms. We do not sell personal contact lists.
Service providers such as our business email and website hosting services may process information to deliver those services. We may also disclose information where legally required. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards required by data protection law.
5. How long do we keep information?
We review prospect and enquiry records periodically and remove information no longer needed for identifying or managing relevant partnerships, subject to any continuing discussions, requests not to be contacted, legal obligations or legitimate needs to maintain business records. Records related to agreed partnerships may be retained longer where needed for contractual, accounting or legal purposes. We do not keep information indefinitely simply because it is publicly available.
6. Website technology
Our website currently uses email links instead of an on-site contact form. It does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies or visitor analytics. Our hosting provider may process technical logs to deliver and secure the website. The site uses Google Fonts, meaning your browser may connect to Google to retrieve font files. If we add forms, analytics or other tracking tools in future, we will update this notice and implement any necessary choices or consent mechanisms.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive certain information in a portable format. You have the right to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing at any time.
To make a request, including asking us not to contact you about future opportunities, email partnerships@mutualift.com. You may also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Updates
We may update this policy if Mutualift's activities, suppliers or website features change. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
